Covid-19 Vaccinations
For your safety and that of our community, all APA staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  It is also a requirement that all presenters, tutors, convenors and registrants (or the equivalent) are fully vaccinated with a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine in order to attend a face to face event. Proof of double vaccination or medical exemption, will be required when checking in to the event.

PD hours/points
1 hour of Conference = 1 hour of CPD as required by the National Registration Board.

Intention to photograph/record
The APA reserves the right to use photographs and video footage, taken at any stage throughout the conference, for the purposes of advertising and promoting APA and its events. If you do not wish to comply with this policy, you must notify the APA Conference & Events Team prior to the event.

Cancellation policy
Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the conference after submitting and paying for registration are welcome to nominate a substitute. Any cancellation must be in writing to the National Office, attention to the Conference & Events Department. Cancellations prior to 4 September 2023 will incur an administration fee of AUD$150. After that date, no refund will be given other than for ‘exceptional circumstances’.

Cancellation of registration due to COVID conditions
The APA will offer a refund of the registration fee if the reason for cancellation is due to COVID related government-imposed border closures, lockdowns and quarantining requirements that are in place at the time of the cancellation, or the attendee tests positive for COVID.

This policy pertains to registration fees only. The APA will not reimburse any travel/accommodation related expenses incurred by registrants who intend to/need to travel, regardless of the COVID situation.

NOTE: The standard APA cancellation terms apply to registration cancellations due to a reason relating to an individual’s workplace travel policies. Therefore, it is the responsibility of registrants to be aware of any travel policies or restrictions imposed by their own workplaces and assume responsibility for their registrations accordingly.

By registering for this event we have collected personal information from you that will be retained by us. This information is being collected by us for the purpose of processing your registration for this event and keeping you informed about other upcoming events. The information will not be disclosed to overseas recipients.

  1. The “Promoters” of this giveaway are the Australian Physiotherapy Association (ABN 89 004 265 150) and Buro Seating Ltd (24 760 980 968).
  2. The giveaway is for one (1) Konfurb Luna chair (“Prize”) which will be given to one (1) registrant.
  3. The Prize is valued at RRP $525 + GST.
  4. To enter, participants must register for the APA Conference, IGNITE 2023, before 11.59pm AEST 31 July 2023. For entry to remain valid in the giveaway, registration must not be cancelled and cancelling registration forfeits entry in the giveaway. Only one (1) entry per registration is given to each registrant.
  5. The winner will be chosen at random and announced via the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Facebook page on 9.00am, Friday 11 August 2023. The winner will also be contacted via the email supplied in their registration to confirm their winning entry. By entering the giveaway, the winner gives permission for the Promoters to post their name and/or social media username on Facebook to communicate the winner’s announcement.
  6. The Prize will be distributed by Buro Seating Ltd to the winner’s nominated postal address as soon as practicable after the winner’s announcement.
  7. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for the cash equivalent. If the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoters reserve the right to offer a substitute that is of equal value.
  8. In the event of unforeseen circumstances reasonably beyond the Promoters control, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel, terminate, or modify or suspend the giveaway, either in whole or in part with or without notice.
