Alison Grootendorst is a Physiotherapist and Masters of Public Health graduate with a clinical background in Neurological Rehabilitation. Alison currently resides on Larrakia Country, working for the Machado Joseph Disease (MJD) Foundation in their clinical services team as the Therapy Program Manager. In addition to her role providing clinical and therapeutic supports for Indigenous families living with MJD across the Northern Territory, Alison also supports the work of the MJD Foundation research team.
