    Dr Amy Dennett is an APA Titled Cancer physiotherapist and Victorian Cancer Agency Fellow at Eastern Health and La Trobe University. She completed her PhD in 2018 which focussed on improving physical activity levels of cancer survivors through oncology rehabilitation. Amy’s research has a strong focus on implementing different models of care within health services to improve access of exercise and physical activity support to people with cancer.

    Amy has led the development of many oncology rehabilitation programs in Victoria including at Eastern Health, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne and Peter Macallum Cancer Centre. She is also the creator of the Cancer Exercise Toolkit, a website aimed at exercise professionals to assist them in developing exercise-based oncology rehabilitation programs. Amy also sits on several committees shaping exercise and survivorship care in Australia, including the Australian Physiotherapy Association Cancer, Palliative Care and Lymphodema Career Pathway working group and Clinical Oncology Society of Australia Exercise Implementation working group.
