Physiotherapist, MQ Health Kids, NSW

Jan is the Team Lead and Lead Physiotherapist of MQ Health Kids, a multidisciplinary paediatric practice, located on campus at Macquarie University, Sydney.

Jan has extensive experience in the care of children and families with both simple and complex health needs. She has over 25 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist working specifically in paediatrics, across public and private healthcare sectors in Australia and the USA, where she has held senior clinical and management roles. Jan has a particular interest in the field of paediatric neurodisability.

In addition to her clinical work, Jan is a clinical educator and has a conjunct appointment at Macquarie University, teaching into the Physiotherapy program.

MQ Health Kids regularly support Physiotherapy students in a 6-month Internship, where the students work clinically alongside the team, but also complete research projects in conjunction with the Physiotherapy program and as part of their degree requirements. A recent Internship research project explored the interface of the NDIS with Community facing Physiotherapy services.
