Professor Kay Crossley (she/her) is the Director of the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre. Kay is a physiotherapist with many years of experience in research and clinical sports physiotherapy.
Her research is focussed on the prevention and management of sport-related injury, including the prevention of symptoms, poor quality of life, and early-onset osteoarthritis after sports-related injuries. Kay targets her work to reducing the burden of knee injuries for women, and to promoting women working in sport and exercise physiotherapy research and practice. She leads the Australian IOC Research Centre, and the HERsport research program.
