Paul Rothmore

    Paul Rothmore is an Associate Professor and Head of the Physiotherapy Program in the School of Allied Health Science and Practice at the University of Adelaide. He has been working in the field of occupational health and injury prevention for more than 30 years.

    Paul is a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists and is a member of several Technical Committees for the International Commission on Occupational Health. He is a member of the Editorial Boards for BMC Archives of Physiotherapy and Environmental Health & Preventive Medicine.

    Paul works with various professional and industry groups to design and evaluate workplace interventions and translate evidence into practice in order to improve the health and wellbeing of working populations.

    He has expertise in ergonomics, injury prevention and management, intervention design, the translation of research into practice and health and safety education. His current research is focused on the ageing workforce and the effect of heat on the incidence and severity of workplace injuries.
