    Robert Palisano, PT, ScD, FAPTA is Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and Scientist, CanChild Centre, McMaster University, Ontario, Canada. Bob is an editor of the journal Physical & Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics and the textbook Campbell’s Physical Therapy for Children.

    He is an experienced pediatric physical therapist, educator, and researcher. His research activities include development of a system to classify gross motor function in children and adolescents with cerebral palsy; creation of gross motor function curves for children and adolescents with cerebral palsy and for children with Down syndrome; developmental trajectories of impairments, health, and participation of children with cerebral palsy; quality of life and determinants of participation in children with cerebral palsy; lifecourse health development of individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions; and validity of goal attainment scaling.
