Sandy Brauer

    Sandy is a Professor in Physiotherapy, Head of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Queensland, and Director of the Centre for Neurorehabilitation, Ageing and Balance Research Centre at UQ. Her research program aims to improve function and participation in people with neurological disorders, in particular stroke and Parkinson’s disease, with physical activity and technology a particular focus.

    Sandy has led numerous National Health and Medical Research Council project grants, published over 230 scholarly works that have impacted clinical practice, supervised and has delivered invited presentations in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
