    Sarah is a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and Board Registered Physiotherapist and the first New Zealander to qualify as a Vet Physio. Graduating top of the class in 2007 with a Masters of Science (Distinction) from the Royal Veterinary College of London, Sarah was also awarded the project prize for her thesis on the musculoskeletal structure and function of the thoracic limb of the racing camel. Since returning to NZ in late 2008 she founded Vetphysio Limited, and in 2016 developed VSA Physio (specialised small animal inpatient/outpatient physiotherapy service) at Veterinary Specialists Aotearoa.

    Sarah has attended two Olympic Games (Beijing 2008 & London 2012) as accredited physiotherapist for horse and rider with Vittoria Panizzon (ITA), and worked with her elite clients at 4* & 5* FEI 3 Day Events around the world. Sarah has travelled to Australia multiple times to treat Group 1 racehorses during their Australian campaigns, and as Team Physio for the Paw Blacks (NZ Dog Agility Team) at the Australian Agility Nationals. Sarah was appointed as the New Zealand Eventing Physiotherapist in 2019 for the Adelaide 5* & Puhinui 3DE.

    Sarah has presented at international conferences, is an FEI Permitted Therapist, a clinical educator, founder & Chair of NZAVPA and executive committee member ANZAVPA.
