Tasmanian Health Service
The Tasmanian Health Service (THS) provides the public healthcare services to Tasmania’s 570,000 locals and 1.3 million annual visitors. We are a 15,000-strong workforce, providing care across the three regions of our state, through a network of acute hospitals, rural health facilities, community services and home-based care services.
Each region features its own unique blend of extraordinary natural beauty, arts and culture, community connectedness, and outstanding local produce. To be Tasmanian is to pursue quality over quantity, meaning over money, to be connected to the land and to each other. Through the care we provide, we are making a lasting impact on this place. That’s why we think it’s the best place in Australia to live and work.
